Our approach
A sequential flow, from raw need to validated architecture
Stakeholder Requirements
Collective scoping workshops and bilateral sessions with each domain (mech, elec, software) to capture real needs, constraints and stakeholder requirements. Supported by tools such as Jama.
Product Requirements
We turn needs into clear, prioritised and verifiable product requirements. The Product Requirements Review is conducted in direct dialogue with your teams — a joint construction.
System architecture
We structure your multi-domain system with Capella and the Arcadia method: operational, functional and physical views, defined interfaces, guaranteed overall coherence.
System simulation
In parallel with the architecture, MATLAB/Simulink or SCILAB/Xcos models allow concepts to mature, performance hypotheses to be tested and requirement relevance validated before freezing decisions.
Design support & design reviews
We support your teams throughout implementation: design reviews, technical arbitration, unblocking critical points. Mechanical, electronics, software and magnetic domains covered simultaneously.
Validation
Verification of architecture compliance with defined requirements. Verification plan, prototyping, acceptance criteria, preparation of industrial reviews and technical audits.
What you receive
First deliverables arrive as early as the requirements definition phase.
For longer projects, delivery follows the project rhythm: you have documents at each phase, before formal milestones if needed.
Each document is produced in standard formats that your teams can take and evolve independently, with no dependency on Aquila.
- Functional specification document — PDF/Word, ready to present to your partners and investors.
- Jama export — stakeholder and product requirements, structured, prioritised, traceable.
- Capella model — complete system architecture: operational, functional and physical views.
- Architecture report — annotated diagrams, technical decision rationale, interface analysis.
- MATLAB/Simulink simulation models — validated concepts and requirements; models are delivered to you.
- Verification plan — acceptance criteria, test methods, requirements coverage.
- Project planning / technical roadmap — milestones, dependencies, ready to manage your subcontractors.
- Workshop minutes — full traceability of decisions taken in collective and bilateral sessions.
A coherent and solid set to convince an investor, precise enough for your team to start development the next day.
