07 — Reverse engineering & competitive analysis

Understand, reproduce, outpace.

Missing supplier, obsolete component, legacy system without documentation or competitor product to dissect: we intervene with physics. Electric motors, actuators and complete mechatronic systems: we rebuild simulable models, usable schematics and technical reports that give you a concrete base to decide or design.

What we do

Missing supplier or undocumented system Disassembly, magnetic and electrical measurements, design reconstruction and simulable model. Deliverables: technical report, Simulink model and specification to re-source from a new supplier.
Inherited design to re-document Schematic and BOM reconstruction: to regain mastery of an inherited design, prepare a transfer or restart manufacturing.
Competitive analysis Understanding a competitor's technical choices (topology, materials, sizing), building an objective physical benchmark, identifying performance margins and detecting patents materialised in the design.
Critical component to replace Obsolescence, supply disruption, manufacturing repatriation, identification of technical alternatives with impact analysis on the complete system.

The difference: physics, not just a list

We do not just disassemble and inventory — we simulate and interpret the physics and reconstruct a simulable model. This depth of analysis transforms a reverse engineering into a concrete working base: new design, targeted improvement or argued sourcing decision.
